GILMOUR ACADEMY
Upper School
Built on top of the original location of dairy barns that were once a part of the Drury Estate, the design of the new Upper Classroom building utilized the existing foundations. This saved significant cost and also supported the design intent of harkening back to the agrarian form by establishing the rectangular perimeter form of the building .
Classrooms were increased from eight overcrowded rooms to eighteen large, state-of-the-art rooms and supportive resource areas. The landmark clock tower reflects the importance of this building on campus.
